So It Goes It...

New Years came... and new years went... this time of year has the potential to be incredibly miserable OR incredibly up beat! And thank God mine seems pretty up beat! :)

I look forward to getting fit again - having let it slip during my first term at university. I also look forward *cough* to revising and sitting the first exams of my uni course. Also there's various football matches to excite! Namely, my, Eastwood Town travelling to Kettering in the 3rd Round of the F.A. Cup and Nottingham Forest travelling up to Manchester to play the world's richest club!

New Years Eve is definitely one of the top nights of the year, however this year was spoilt by indecision and some scaghead from St. Ann's who thought he'd mug us - he did not succeed. Nevermind, there's always Saturday - as we plan a much awaited return to Stealth Nightclub in Nottingham! It promises to be messy!

The World:

Well the Israelis obviously think they're gonna steamroll through Palestine - the death roll promises to be enormous, unfortunately. However, the Arab and Islamic world maybe up in arms about the planned land encroachment - but i do not see them offering homes to Palestinian citizens. IF thousands become refugees, the West YET AGAIN will be expected to pick up the pieces and both house and care for these Palestinians!

Can we expect the Arab World to help out their brothers - probably not, because Palestinians are seen as 3rd rate within the middle-east. Maybe the loud mouthed Iranians should stop arming Hamas (the cause of the  current trouble) and start mending relations between the two(about as likely as hell freezing over)....

World War III; well as tensions grow between Ukraine and Russia and Ukraine seeks N.A.T.O membership; and as the Iranians develope nuclear technologies and the Israelis provoke the Islamic world... the possibility of a radioactive World War III doesn't seem too far off...

*maybe i'll put £10 on it at Labrooke's.
